I am sure that all of us at some time have lost of misplaced items. Keys phones, receipts etc. You spend hours and sometimes days looking for them some you don’t find again till you replaced them others reappear when you least expect them. I had a similar case a few years back was off on a weekend break and as I was about to leave I could six months before they reappeared and I had saved enough money to replace the lock and get a locksmith to change it was told go and look in your car.

I had searched the house high and low had checked every box and bag that I owned on numerous occasions. I had called on Lilith for help and was told in time. (Lilith looks after us when we are at our limits especially lost and not necessarily spiritually lost but physically or if you’re late for an important appointment and you can’t find a parking space she will often give you the support to get you to your event in the nick of time). Again some of you may have had experiences of this too. Back to the story and it had a simple end in the car door was the back door keys. The car wasn’t even the same car as I had changed it after the disappearance of the keys. Who put them back?
This last Christmas holiday was another of those types of events thankfully not as long. I have a large tabby cat he is very vain and smart he doesn’t think he is a cat and even when he stays at a cattery the staff often say he has human like qualities. I swear if he had thumbs he would be into everything. He as an opinion for most things and is nosey and doesn’t like to be left out of events or conversation. He is also very spiritual and comes and sits in when he feels the person with me would like mention from a loved pet.

B which is a shortening of his name is very hansom he also a bit like a hermit crab he has very long front and back legs short haired grey and silver with the M marking on his head. He has this habit of jumping up on the chair next to me and using his long paw and voice to get my attention. This is usually for treats as he unlike other cats doesn’t really do cat food or even human food he is a gentle eater and grazes little amounts throughout the day of dry food. He prefers water high up and from a glass. Is he spoil probably, am I a mad cat woman No but I do talk to people and animals from both sides so some would call me strange odd or even potty. I am very level headed and I will always question my information but I do take my gifts seriously and I feel privileged for the communications that I receive. B also believes he is human and has various expressions which make you think he either approves or disapproves. He doesn’t suffer fools gladly and neither do I.

A recent move meant that B was unable to go out of the house. Partly due to the fact that he is a scary cat frightened of his own shadow he doesn’t do noise too well and partly due to when he was a kitten got bit by a fox so he is rather wary of other animals he doesn’t mind other cats prefers males over females but by choice he rather sit in the sun and sniff the air. However, this place is near a busy road and so to go out a harness was purchased and the plan was to take him out slowly to get used to his new surroundings. A Cat harness was too small so a dog one was purchased put on the side with the receipt and it was still in its packing I had previously returned the first one as it was too small. The next day weather permitting to take him out .Harness gone receipt and packaging in same place no wind no other person to move it only me. Again the house and car was searched high to low. Another visit to the shops to buy a second one only to find they didn’t have any more. Still the cat couldn’t go out. Frustration at its highest level, so I thought let’s try Lilith as I walked around the house I was drawn to the window above the coffee table in den a christmas decoration had slipped along with a Santa which had also fallen down as I stooped to pick up the decoration hung over the plug was the harness( The plug was a 4 gang with the Wi-Fi plug connected into it I would have previously unplugged at night) there it was as if someone had tried it on the cat and taken it off but had not had the chance to return it. On the harness they appeared to be a few hairs. Not human B pushed open the door walked in and rubbed my leg. There was no way it could have got there on its own for those of you who remember Jonathan Creek it was one of those moments you need for someone to explain how it actually happened. Had spirit decided to have a trial run or did B grow thumbs try the harness himself?

I was just pleased to have it back and B got the chance to sniff the New Year’s first air. Happy New Year everyone let’s hope 2020 is far better one than the last year.
