It might be a constructive move towards achieving world peace to establish a world religion, which, far from demolishing the existing religions would incorporate them all and embrace them with open arms. Just as each religion has its own divisions, the Muslims and their different sects such as the Sunnis, Shiities and so forth, the Christians with their Roman Catholics, Protestants, Quakers, Methodists and a hundred other denominations, and the Buddhists with the Mahayana branch, the Hinayana, and Zen.
There are over 4000 different religions. We would not ask them all to come together and merge into one, but we would suggest each send a representative to the next Parliament of World Religions.
Spiritualism so far has not been represented there, but since it is also a science and philosophy, it could be a unifying factor world-wide, since all religions have in common the one Supreme Intelligence behind the Spirit World, out of which have evolved all the temporal material realities, including our own universe.
Perhaps this is the way toward peace and understanding in the world, which would end the present tension, terrorism, violence, crime and warfare.
