How do I speak with Mother Meera? I live and the sparks of my soul light my way. That is the where the dialogue exists – in the eternal realm of the heart. If you are reading this on one of Mother’s sites then there is nothing I can tell you about experiencing Mother Meera’s darshan that you don’t already know. A description of my first encounter with Mother Meera can be found at

Nevertheless.
I first went to Thalheim in the 90s with trepidation. I was sure Mother would see into my darkest and most shameful cells. What I would learn is that is exactly what I wanted. I wished for Mother to illuminate my darkness. That first visit lasted two weeks. When I think about it now it seems like a dream. I stayed with a fraulein in a small village, which was picturesque to say the least. Thalheim lied in a valley below my village. It was beautiful and each time I would walk down that path towards sunset I was regaled with nature’s transcendence. My first stay occurred in October, a gentle season. Then, while climbing in the dark on the same path which I had treaded previously, I was imbued with light that Mother had catalyzed in me. The “sparks of my soul.”
I left a message with Adilakshmi, Mother’s assistant. Mother has always said one can and should ask for everything, like a child asking his own mother. Being the clever child that I am I decided to ask for what was my most passionate yearning. I would leave the “everything” for another time. Surely Mother would admire my restraint. One request was for a child to come into my life. I did not care if I was married or in a relationship that produced that child, but just a child who I could love completely. I was in my late 40’s, finished with my career in the theater and thought that finally I had the space in my life into which I could invite a child. The next thing I asked for was a 6-figure income so I may support that child. Well, the next year I met a 4-year old little girl who became a part of my life. I had fallen in love with her mother. I have always thought that child, Dasha (

However, the 6-figure income did not arrive until several years later, when Dasha was 11. Enough time to help her through her academic, music and ballet studies. Today she goes to Princeton with a full scholarship, but more importantly, she is a golden child with an extraordinary heart.
The first time I saw Dasha sleeping, her left hand was outstretched. In that hand, in the dark, I saw a perfectly round illuminated gold light nestled in her palm. My relationship with her mother has long ago gone south, but my connection with Dasha remains strong. This is the child that Mother somehow enabled to come into my life. To give you an example of how extraordinary Dasha is I share with you two brief dialogues we had when she was 7.
We were walking near her home at Brighton Beach, going to the beach, when she turned to me and asked if there was a God. I said to her most definitely there was and that she would learn that for herself one day. Then, another time, we were on our way to the beach another day when she turned to me and said, “I have a big heart.” I asked her what she meant by that. She said, “Because I love so many people. I love you, mommy, my friends, my teachers. I have a big heart.” I assured her that she was right.
Today, Dasha ‘s heart starts her career as a concert pianist, as she continues her studies at Princeton.
Thank you, Mother.
